Dredged Material Assessments

The dredging and disposal of sediments in U.S. waterways is essential to the maintenance of ongoing maritime operations. Based on the high quality of our project management, sampling and sample handling, and testing and reporting services, Pacific EcoRisk is regularly selected to provide dredge materials evaluations for a variety of major ports, large and small marinas, as well as being selected to provide evaluation services for U. S. ACOE dredging programs. 

Pacific EcoRisk provides cradle-to-grave project management of dredged material evaluations, including but not limited to the following services:

  • Preparation of Sampling and Analysis Plans

  • Client representation

  • Field collection of sediment samples via push core, gravity core and vibracore methods

  • Chemical and biological evaluation of proposed dredge material

  • Testing for Inland, Ocean, and Upland Disposal

  • Preparation of concise and easily-understood data reports

  • Tier I, Tier II, Tier III, and Tier IV evaluations

  • Preparation of alternatives analysis

  • Dredge Permit Applications
